Stock and pricing
Design-time stock is a snapshot at quantity one, which is the wrong question. inventory.sweep(netlist) re-asks it at the quantities you actually order — 1, 10, 25 and 100 (25 is a first-board run) — by exact LCSC code, live, rather than trusting the figure from design time.
For every distinct part the report carries the references that use it, the quantity per board, the quantity needed (per board × boards × 1.02 attrition, rounded up), the stock, the unit price at that quantity break, the line cost, and a risk:

A quantity is buildable when no line is short or gone. Each quantity's total is parts plus the setup fee — $3 per distinct extended part — and a per-board figure. Headroom (stock ÷ needed) is shown as runs in the workbench and is deliberately uncapped: a genuine 80,000× is a real number and 999+× says all that matters.
checked_live records whether the sweep reached JLCPCB; a report built from cache is marked cached in the workbench. The whole report is saved in board.json under inventory and the qty-1 total is what the projects page and the version list show as cost.
Out of stock is not unresolved
A part that exists but shows 0 today still resolves; it is reported as a stock note and as a gone line. Stock is a number that changes hourly, and losing a finished board to it would answer the wrong question. See Parts and packages.
